License

php.js is dual licensed under the MIT and GPL licenses.

This means you may use php.js under the terms of either the MIT License or the Gnu General Public License (GPL) Version 2.

The MIT license allows you to use the library as you see fit (even in commercial projects) as long as you redistribute original the license with it. You don't need to open up your modifications per se, but obviously that would be greatly appreciated and ensure you won't lose your changes after you upgrade.

The GPL license makes it compatible with other GPL projects.
